"Dancing with poetry, music and hip hop down the peninsula of Italia, from Genoa and Bologna, through Rome to Calabria, Sicilia, Napoli, Puglia, Lecce, the Magna Graecia, the Griko traditions of Greek settlers on the Italian coast. Then, we cross the Ionian sea to Greece for the sonorous low bap form of hip hop including a collaboration with an Australian poet, bringing us full circle to LAPKAT’s home in Melbourne as the first days of southern summer wake up dancing feet and beating hearts". - Lapkat

"Home" - Nomadic Wax's audio documentary mixed by Dj Boo #U.S.A. #WorldWide
Project Synopsis/Description:
Home is a musical conversation on the global struggle for housing.
Original verses and tracks on the subject from artists all over the
world are expertly mixed together with first-person testimonies from the
United States and South Africa. Seamlessly mixed together by Dj Boo,
this audio documentary aims to highlight a series of issues in the
struggle for homes: inadequate access to employment and healthcare, war,
displacement, gentrification, immigration, eviction, lack of services,
homelessness and the foreclosure crisis, to name a few. Pieces of
conversation weave in and out between songs, verses, and the production
of political hip hop heavyweights the Cornel West theory, grounding the
music in lived experience, offering an intimate glimpse into the
perspective of everyday people fighting for their homes.

...Going back to La Isla Verde...
We Zero Plastica have been invited by the Cuban Rap Agency to perform at the 9th Hip-Hop Symposium in Cuba in August. We'll also tour with some of the best Cuban Mc's that have joined "CuBASS", a record that I've been donating beats for and executively produced by my friend Sergio Limuti in the last months, recorded between Havana (Cuba) and Genova (Italy), mixed by RobiGabri and featuring some raps of me and my man Lure and a lot of dope musicians and raperos.
...Wish us luck, guys! See you a the end of the month.
