I've been blessed to join this amazing festival in Mauritania and I had the chance to meet some incredible artists from different countries and also to collaborate with them, doing workshops and performing in an incredible scenario in the desert, at Basra, near Nouakchott, in front of 15000 people.
From a "western" perspective, the only thing we keep on listening about Mauritania is that it's a dangerous place because of the terrorism, but that's the tipical stereotype of ignorant people that don't know the reality. Mauritanians are awesome and very gentle and the world must know much more about this beautiful country.
I have just love for all the brothers and sisters I met there and I can't wait to go back to Nouakchott.
Salam Aleikum
